The vemm tec Gas Turbine Meter is designed to measure the quantity of gas to high accuracy. the special design means that the sensitivity to disturbed flow (e.g. swirl) and the pressure drop are reduced to a minimum.

A wide range of complementary equipment such as PTZ correctors, barriers and meter tubes are also available.

An 8 digit mechanical counter indicates the volume of gas through the meter at operating conditions. Low or high frequency pulse signals can be supplied to a flow computer.

The IGTM-CT Gas Turbine Meter is approved for custody transfer purposes in most European countries.

Custom versions for special applications and increased accuracy are available on request.

Accuracy Custody Transfer (CT) Meter

    Within the limits of the EC directives:
          ±1% for 0.2Qmax to Qmax
          ±2% for Qmin to 0.2Qmax

    Optional improved accuracy limits possible:
          ±0.5% for 0.2Qmax to Qmax
          ±1% for Qmin to 0.2Qmax

    Repeatability:                      0.1%

    Rangeability for 80mm (3" ) and up indicated accuracy limits can be archieved within a range of 1:20 (Qmin = 0.05 Qmax) Optional turn down ratios of 1:30 or 1:50 are available for most models. The turn down ratio also improves at higher operating pressure.

Index Head and Pulse Transmitters

    Index head standard provided with an 8 digit mechanical counter. Pulse signals standard provided:
      Low frequency Reed switch
      High frequency proximity sensor

    Optional within index head
      Second low frequency Reed switch
      Second high frequency proximity sensor

    Optional high frequency proximity sensors available at the body of the meter:
      At the turbine wheel
      At the reference wheel (CT-models of 4" and up)
Initial Verification and Calibration
    Initial verification of a custody transfer meter can be performed at a PTB (German weights and measures) approved test installation. An EC (European Community) seal will be provided and the meter can be used for custody transfer purposes.
    Calibration of both the CT and IM Gas Turbine Meters can also be undertaken at this installation. A calibration certificate will be provided. High Pressure Calibration can also be offered.
